Education
In 1988 graduated from the H. Skovoroda Kharkiv Pedagogical Institute.
In 2003 graduated Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University.
In 2008 Graduated from the Kharkiv Regional Institute of Public Administration of the National Academy of Public Administration under the President of Ukraine, Master’s degree in Public Administration
Career
1977 – 1978 – Clerk at the Leninsky District People’s Court of Kharkiv
1980 – 1982 – Clerk at the Gotvaldovskyi City Council in the Kharkiv region
1982 – 1987 – Executive Secretary at the Gotvaldovskyi District Executive Committee in the Kharkiv Region
1987 – 1995 – Teacher in the Chemuzhiv secondary school for grades one through three, Kharkiv Region
1995 – 2003 – Head of the District Service for Minors, Head of the Department for Family and Youth, Head of the Department for Youth and Sports and Head of the Department for Family and Youth at the Zmiyiv District State Administration of Kharkiv Region
2003 – 2005 – Lawyer at the PE “Credo”
2005 – 2010 – Head of the Pechenegskyi District State Administration of the Kharkiv Region
2014 – Adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine
2018 – 2019 – Member of the Central Election Commission
2010 – 2014 – Elected Deputy of the Pechenegskyi District Council of the Kharkiv Region and a Deputy of the Kharkiv Regional Council
2014 – 2018 – MP of Ukraine. Authored and co-authored over a hundred bills and laws addressing children’s rights, veterans and pensions.
Under her co-authorship and co-authorship, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the VIII convocation adopted the following laws:
Law of Ukraine Number 1836-VIII “On Amendments to certain Laws of Ukraine on providing assistance to children of the deceased provider”;
Law of Ukraine Number 2281-VIII “On Amendments to Article 115 of the Law of Ukraine “On compulsory state pension insurance” regarding the granting of early retirement pensions to family members of persons who died as a result of wounding, mutilation, contusion or other health damage sustained during the participation in the Revolution of Dignity”;
Law of Ukraine Number 1665-VIII “On Amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine on creating favorable conditions for the implementation of charitable telecommunication messages”;
Law of Ukraine Number 1673-VIII “On Amendments to Article 3 of the Law of Ukraine “On pension provision for persons discharged from military service and certain other persons” (regarding the addition to the list of persons entitled to pensions on an equal basis with military personnel in regular service and their family members)”;
Law of Ukraine Number 1080-VIII “On Amendments to certain Laws of Ukraine on social protection of reserve officers affected by participation in the Anti-Terrorist Operation and members of their families”.
Associate Professor at the Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. Primary areas of research: Family and civil law and protection of children’s rights. Published more than 20 scientific works.
PhD in Law
Research interests include liability issues in family law, private law and public law protection of children’s rights. As a member of the Ukrainian Parliament, was one of the authors of the draft Law of Ukraine “On Amendments to certain legislative acts of Ukraine on strengthening the protection of the child’s right to proper maintenance by improving the procedure for enforced recovery of child support payments”.
Published more than 20 scientific papers.
Awarded the Order of Princess Olga III degree (2008) and the Order of Princess Olga II degree (2017), the medal “Businessman of Ukraine 2007”, awarded the Orthodox orders: “Great Martyr Barbara”, “Great Martyr Catherine” I and II degrees, “To 1020th anniversary of the Baptism of Rus.”
On October 4, 2019, appointed as a Member of the Central Election Commission by Resolution of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Number 179-IX. On the same day, took the oath as a Member of the Central Election Commission.
Appointed to be responsible for overseeing the execution of powers of the Central Election Commission in the Kharkiv Region.
Responsible for coordination of:
Cooperation between the Commission and the Security Service of Ukraine, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, and the National Police of Ukraine to ensure the voting rights of Ukrainians and the right to participate in a national referendum
Participation of the Central Election Commission in preparation of law enforcement activities during elections of the President of Ukraine, Members of Parliament and in local elections and referenda
Prevention and counteraction to criminal and administrative offenses during the administration of elections and referenda
Proposals for the improvement of legislation governing criminal and administrative liability for violations of electoral legislation and referendum legislation
Cooperation between the Central Election Commission and the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Verkhovna Rada on electoral rights during the organization of the preparation and conduct of elections and referenda
